Merdeka Battery Materials (IDX:MBMA) is considering selling depositary receipts in Hong Kong, Bloomberg News reported on Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Ddetails of the offering, including size and timing, are still under evaluation, the sources said.
The news comes three months after the nickel producer's sister company, Merdeka Gold Resources (HKG:6228, IDX:EMAS), raised about HK$2.3 billion in net proceeds from its Hong Kong depositary receipts offering in June.
Merdeka Battery did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
