-- MediaTek (TPE:2454) launched the first phase of its most advanced AI data center, aimed at boosting in-house research and development as AI demand accelerates globally, Nikkei Asian Review reported Thursday.
The facility is powered by Nvidia's B200 platform and DGX SuperPOD infrastructure, and becomes Taiwan's first to adopt immersion-cooling technology for high-performance AI computing.
Company president Joe Chen said the system will sharply speed up development cycles, supporting work on next-generation chips, cloud computing, and advanced AI applications, reportedly.
MediaTek also highlighted deepening collaboration with Nvidia and major tech clients, while ramping up R&D spending as competition in AI infrastructure intensifies, the Nikkei said.
