Libya's state-owned National Oil Corporation has announced successful flow tests at a newly-drilled initial well in the Al-Khair field, located within the Sirte basin, Reuters reported Thursday citing a company statement.
Drilled by NOC subsidiary Sirte Oil Company, the asset achieved a stable, natural flow rate of 3,209 barrels of oil per day alongside 1.948 million cubic feet of associated gas per day, as per the report.
The asset expands capacity at the Al-Khair field, which originally came online in 2021 with an initial pool rate of 6,000 bpd.
The NOC did not respond immediately to' request for comments.
