The global sales of Kia's (KRX:000270) PV5 purpose-built vehicle surpassed 50,000 units in 13 months after its launch in June 2025, The Korea Times reported Sunday.
The automaker sold 53,530 units globally through July, with markets abroad accounting for about 60% of the figure. Sales totaled 15,853 units in H2 2025 and 37,677 units in the first seven months of 2026. The midsize electric PBV was Kia's third-best-selling EV in the January-July period, after the EV3 and EV5, the report said.
Kia did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
