Malaysian sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional sold shares worth 1.39 billion Malaysian ringgit in Tenaga Nasional (KLSE:TENAGA), Bloomberg reported Friday, citing sources.
On July 21, Khazanah placed 100 million shares of the state-owned power company for sale at 13.91 ringgit each, with settlement on July 24, sources told Bloomberg.
According to Bloomberg data, Khazanah holds a 17.7% stake in Tenaga, making it the second-largest shareholder.
Khazanah and Tenaga did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
