Kaynes Technology India (NSE:KAYNES, BOM:543664) has stationed its sales team in Japan to seek semiconductor assembly orders from local chipmakers, including automotive semiconductor manufacturers, as the company enters the Japanese semiconductor market.
Nikkei Asia reported on Wednesday that the Indian electronics manufacturer's semiconductor unit, Kaynes Semicon, is receiving support from Japanese back-end services provider Aoi Electronics in launching its product line, while Mitsui is assisting with materials procurement and customer development.
The company is expected to start shipping its sample products in fiscal 2026.
