Alibaba Group (HKG:9988) founder Jack Ma purchased over HK$600 million worth of the company's Hong Kong-listed shares in recent days, the South China Morning Post reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Alibaba co-founder and Chairman Joseph Tsai and CEO Eddie Wu also invested HK$201.5 million collectively over the same period, according to data from the Hong Kong bourse.
Tsai bought 1.4 million shares for roughly HK$162.4 million on Monday and Tuesday, while Wu bought 350,000 shares for HK$39.1 million on Monday.
Alibaba did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
