Asia-focused investment firm PAG is planning to raise about $4 billion for a new buyout fund, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing three people familiar with the matter.
PAG has informed limited partners about the fundraising, though the final target size has not been set, according to the report.
The new fund could target between $4 billion and $5 billion, with an initial fundraising cutoff expected by year-end, the report added.
PAG did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
