Indonesian telecom services provider Indosat (IDX:ISAT) is said to be looking to raise around $2 billion in loans to buy advanced chips for its local operations, according to a Bloomberg report on Wednesday citing people familiar with the matter.
As per the report, Citigroup has been selected to arrange the loan, and it has approached other banks to evaluate their interest.
Indosat and Citigroup did not immediately respond to' request for a comment.
