India has secured investment commitments worth up to $12 billion from global and domestic companies since launching its latest semiconductor policy, Bloomberg News reported, citing Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw at a semiconductor industry event on Thursday.
The pledges span chipmaking equipment, materials and chemicals, according to the report.
