Hyundai Motor (KRX:005380) introduced Pleos Connect, its new infotainment system that is inspired by Tesla's minimalist design, and comes with a wide central touchscreen, Bloomberg reported Thursday.

The next-generation infotainment system incorporates the voice assistant Gleo AI, which can understand regular conversations. The system is expected to be launched in South Korea in May before being launched globally, according to the report.

Shares of Hyundai Motor fell nearly 5% at market close.
