South Korean retailer Hyundai Department Store (KRX:069960) is teaming up with domestic fashion labels to grow its presence abroad, with a goal of launching 10 sizable multi-brand outlets across Japan, Europe, and the U.S. by 2030, Nikkei Asia reported on Monday.
In July, the company unveiled its first permanent major international location within Tokyo's Omokado shopping complex in Omotesando, the news daily said.
The Tokyo venue has drawn strong interest from younger shoppers and is said to have surpassed early sales targets by 30%, the publication said.
Hyundai Department Store did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
