HSBC (HKG:0005) is planning to consolidate its Singapore banking operations under a single entity to simplify its local structure, Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The restructuring would bring the bank's wholesale, retail, and private banking businesses in Singapore under one roof, according to the report.
HSBC did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
