HSBC's (HSBC) Managing Director for Leveraged and Acquisition Finance, Vikram Lamba, left the bank earlier this month, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Hong Kong-based Lamba previously worked at Merrill Lynch and Citigroup, according to his LinkedIn profile.
