Five people were killed, and another was injured in an explosion at Hanwha Aerospace's (KRX:012450) factory in Daejeon on Monday, The Korea Times said in a same-day report.
The blast occurred around 10:59 am, triggering a fire that emergency crews worked to put out. Authorities are yet to confirm the exact number of casualties, the report said.
Shares of Hanwha Aerospace fell nearly 3% at market close.
