Venezuela is facing prolonged disruptions at key energy facilities after earthquake damage to the country's electricity network complicated recovery efforts, Reuters reported Friday, citing sources.
The report said electricity shortages have left the El Palito refinery largely idle and delayed the restart of the Moron Petrochemical Complex. It added that the Planta Centro and Termocentro power plants are still recovering from the disruption.
Venezuela's Ministry of People's Power for Hydrocarbons did not immediately reply to' request for comment.
