Doosan Enerbility (KRX:034020) has secured a contract from U.S. nuclear firm TerraPower to supply key components for its advanced small modular reactor project, Yonhap News Agency reported on Thursday, citing the company.
The deal covers guard vessels, internal structures, and support systems for the Natrium reactor, though the value was not disclosed, the news daily said.
The project builds on a 2024 preliminary review agreement between the two companies for the 345-megawatt unit, which broke ground earlier this year in Wyoming, the publication said.
