Deutsche Bank (DB) has made a slew of hires as part of a plan to rebuild its energy trading business after largely exiting the commodities sector over a decade ago, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The bank has hired two former Goldman Sachs (GS) traders and at least two senior Morgan Stanley (MS) commodity sales executives as part of the effort, the report said, citing the people.
Deutsche Bank didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from.
