Market Chatter: Daewoo Engineering & Construction to launch Cheonan project in September

By

Daewoo Engineering & Construction (KRX:047040) will begin sales in September for its 1,438-unit Dujeong Station Prugio Grand Peak complex in Cheonan, the Korea Times reported on Wednesday, citing a company statement.

The project, featuring 10 buildings rising up to 35 stories, offers a range of unit sizes from 59 to 114 sq meters to cater to diverse buyer profiles, the news portal said.

Its proximity to Samsung Display and other major industrial complexes in the city is expected to drive strong take-up among manufacturing workers, the publication said.

The September launch is likely to bolster Daewoo E&C's order book and provide near-term earnings visibility amid steady construction demand, the report said.
