China's imports of seaborne liquefied natural gas rose 8.3% year over year to about 5.7 million tons in June, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing China's National Energy Administration.
LNG purchases increased in time for a rise in demand for the summer, according to the report.
For the first half, Chinese LNG purchases were 5.6% below 2025 levels, the report said.
China's NEA did not immediately respond to a request for comment from.
