The Cyberspace Administration of China launched an investigation into DeepSeek and Moonshot after Anthropic alleged that the two companies transmitted sensitive information through Claude, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing a report from The Information, which cited people with knowledge of the matter.

Beijing flagged concerns about sensitive information on China's military, police, and company data being transmitted to the U.S. through an American AI platform, the report said.

DeepSeek and Moonshot did not immediately respond to requests for comment from.
