Carlyle Group is preparing to list its Indian auto-parts platform, Highway Roop Precision Technologies, to raise $400 million in the first half of next year, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday.
Carlyle is working with Kotak Mahindra Capital, JM Financial, Goldman Sachs, and Nomura for the IPO, which will include both primary and secondary shares, though final details on size, valuation, and timing remain subject to market conditions, the news wire said.
This move is part of Carlyle's broader push to list multiple India portfolio companies amid a rebound in Indian IPO activity, the publication said.
Highway Roop Precision Technologies, Carlyle, and the banks did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
