Blue Owl Capital's (OWL) data center firm Stack Infrastructure is seeking a syndicated loan of 8.5 billion Australian dollars ($5.9 billion) to support its third data center project in Melbourne, Bloomberg reported Wednesday evening, citing people familiar with the matter.

The financing could be among the largest of its kind for the sector in Australia, the report said, adding that talks with banks remain at an early stage and details may change.

Blue Owl Capital did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
