The Bank of Korea expects consumer prices to ease in July from June, owing to the drop in crude oil prices and government efforts, Yonhap News reported, citing Deputy Governor Lee Ji-ho's statement from a meeting.
Lee, however, said consumer prices are expected to remain high as crude oil prices overshadow economic growth, the Thursday report added.
