Singapore-based refiner Aster Chemicals and Energy is open to an initial public offering but is unlikely to rush into it, Business Times reported Saturday, citing deputy chief executive Andre Khor.
The company would consider a listing only after its recently acquired assets are "on a stronger footing," the report said.
Aster recently acquired Shell's Pulau Bukom refinery as well as several energy and chemical assets on Jurong Island, according to the report.
