Apple (AAPL) is developing a screenless fitness tracker similar to Whoop's wrist device, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The company has been exploring the segment for several months and is building prototypes, the report said.

A decision hasn't been made on a product release, and if Apple proceeds, the fitness tracker debut likely wouldn't debut before 2028, the report said.
