Market Chatter: Anthropic CEO Amodei Set to Brief UN Security Council on AI

Amazon-backed (AMZN) Anthropic Chief Executive Dario Amodei will brief the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday alongside Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI CEO Sam Altman in a meeting about the future of artificial intelligence, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing a program of the meeting.

Other people included in the briefing are Hugging Face CEO Clement Delangue, and Yoshua Bengio, who co-chairs the UN's panel on AI, according to the report. Altman's attendance at the briefing was previously reported by Reuters.

Anthropic and OpenAI did not immediately reply to a request for comment from.
