Amazon.com (AMZN) blocked Meta Platforms' (META) Muse AI agent from its retail site, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing Amazon spokesperson Lara Hendrickson.

Amazon prohibits other companies from using automated tools to shop its site, and Meta declined an initial request to remove the bot, the report said.

Amazon and Meta did not immediately respond to requests for comment from.

Amazon shares rose 1.6% in Monday trading, and Meta jumped 9.7%.
