Market Chatter: Alibaba Cloud Cuts AI Data Center Delivery Time to 100 Days

Alibaba Group's (HKG:9988) Alibaba Cloud lowered the delivery time for large-scale AI data centers to 100 days by lowering construction costs by 10% via its proprietary modular architecture CUBE 5.0, the China Securities Journal reported Tuesday.

The technology also raises modularity across power, cooling, security, intelligent management, and fire protection systems to 90% from 30%, South China Morning Post said in a Tuesday report.

CUBE 5.0, launched in 2024, secured certification for roll-out across Europe and Southeast Asia. Previously, it has been deployed in projects in Inner Mongolia and Ningxia Hui, it said.

Alibaba Group did not immediately respond to' request for comment.

Update: Austal Gets Up to $1.2 Billion Offer for US Operations From Hanwha Unit; Shares Up 19%
