Chinese robotics startup Dexmal is in talks to raise fresh funding at a valuation of about 20 billion yuan, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing founder Tang Wenbin.
The fundraising follows previous rounds led by Alibaba Group Holding and NIO Capital, as investor interest grows in Chinese companies developing embodied AI for humanoid robots, the report noted. Dexmal also received investment from Chinese AI lab Z.AI in an earlier round, Tang reportedly told the news outlet.
