US' private equity firm Advent International is in talks to acquire MBK Partners' wholly owned nursing care company, Japan Well-being, for 200 billion yen in Japan, Nikkei Asia reported on Thursday.
The acquisition, expected to be completed in early July, is aimed at consolidation in Japan by adding more facilities and driving profitability and efficiency through the use of artificial intelligence.
