Many Peaks Minerals (ASX:MPK) reported partial assay results from prioritized intervals in nine diamond core holes totalling 6,036 meters drilled at its Ferké Gold Project in Ivory Coast, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 116 meters at 2.78 grams per tonne gold, or an estimated 63.5-meter true width, from 524 meters downhole depth, including 13.8 meters at 3.44 g/t gold from 542.2 meters and 42 meters at 5.01 g/t gold from 598 meters.
The drilling has identified a 70% increase in the vertical extent of gold mineralization hosted in the Ouarigue mineralized intrusion, with assays pending for a further 23 diamond core holes totalling 6,657 meters and 65 reverse circulation holes totalling 7,979 meters, the filing added.
Following completion of an updated mineral resource estimate for Ouarigue, planned for next quarter, Many Peaks intends to undertake an integrated economic assessment incorporating pre-feasibility level open-pit study work and a scoping study level evaluation of underground development options.
