Many Peaks Minerals (ASX:MPK) continued to extend the mineralized corridor along the northern extent of the Ouarigue mineral resource estimate with strong gold assay results from drilling at the Ferké project in the Ivory Coast, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Eleven drill holes comprising 2,350 meters of diamond core drilling returned nearly 42 meters at 1.42 grams per tonne grade of gold from 1.6 meters, followed by almost 40 meters at 3.94 g/t grade of gold from 54 meters, nearly 95 meters at 1.43 g/t grade of gold from 170 meters, including 9.45 meters at 2.09 g/t grade of gold and 5.4 meters at 12.40 g/t grade of gold, the filing said.
Reverse circulation drilling is ongoing at the project, with assays pending from 7,051 meters of drilling, per the filing.
