Mankind Pharma Arm Acquires Remaining 10% Stake in Upakarma Ayurveda

Mankind Lifesciences, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mankind Pharma (NSE:MANKIND, BOM:543904), has acquired the remaining 10% stake it did not already own in Upakarma Ayurveda for 7.50 million Indian rupees, according to a Tuesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

Mankind Lifesciences already held 90% stake in Upakarma Ayurveda, and has acquired the remaining 10% stake of Upakarma from Kaushcorp Media.

Following the acquisition, Upakarma has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mankind Lifesciences and a step-down subsidiary of the company.

Upakarma sells ayurvedic, herbal, and nutraceutical products.

Star CM to Exit Minority Investment in Shanghai Binqiao Enterprise Management

Star CM (HKG:6698) will exit its minority investment in Shanghai Binqiao Enterprise Management in exchange for complete ownership in Shanghai Xingkongshui'an Enterprise Development, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.The firm entered an agreement to sell its 17.59% stake in Shanghai Binqiao for an implied value of 193.5 million yuan. The consideration will be satisfied via the entire equity interest in SH Xingkongshui'an plus a cash payment of 237,000 yuan on completion.As part of the transaction, SH Xingkongshui'an will also assume a loan of around 266.59 million yuan owed to Star CM, which will mostly be offset against a 266.13 million yuan loan receivable.The remaining 466,000 yuan will be settled in cash.Star CM said the restructuring will help the firm gain direct ownership of a property development project in Shanghai's Yangpu district.

DL Holdings Secures KRW1 Trillion Construction Order in Seoul

DL Holdings (KRX:000210) secured a construction order worth 1 trillion won from Korea Land and Housing Corporation, the builder said in a Tuesday corporate disclosure.Under the deal, the company will build an apartment complex for 3,574 households, along with auxiliary welfare facilities in Jeungsan-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul.The contract is valid until Dec. 31, 2033.
