Mainfreight Posts Lower Fiscal 2026 Earnings, Revenue Rises; Maintains Final Dividend

Mainfreight (NZE:MFT) reported Thursday fiscal 2026 earnings of NZ$2.49 per share, down from NZ$2.72 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of NZ$2.49.

Revenue for the 12 months ended March 31 was NZ$5.38 billion, compared with NZ$5.24 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected NZ$5.47 billion.

The company said trading in April and May has been encouraging despite disruption caused by the Middle East conflict and increased fuel prices.

The board declared a final dividend of NZ$0.87 per share, unchanged from a year earlier, payable July 17 to shareholders on record as of July 9.

Gifore's Indirectly Controlled Subsidiary to Sell Stake in Automobile Sales Company

Gifore Agricultural Science & Technology Service (SHE:300022) indirectly-controlled subsidiary Sichuan Jifeng Junong Agricultural Equipment will transfer the entire stake in Nanchong Jifeng Automobile Sales Service to two entites for 7.7 milion yuan.Sichuan Jifeng Wanjia Modern Agricultural Development will acquire 60% of the equity and Xinshun Jiahe Business Information Consulting will take up the remaining 40%, according to Wednesday bourse filing in Shenzhen.Sichuan Jifeng Junong Agricultural Equipment sells vehicles and spare parts, among others.Among the preconditions for the transfer is the distribution of 3 billion yuan of Nanchong Jifeng's profits to Sichuan Jifeng Wanjia Modern Agricultural Development.Xinshun Jiahe Business Information Consulting shareholder Wang Xiaoying will also lend 3 billion yuan to Nanchong Jifeng.
