Luye Pharma Group (HKG:2186) completed a U.S. bridging clinical trial for its investigational neurological drug LY03015, with results supporting the start of a U.S. efficacy trial.
The study found comparable pharmacokinetics between Chinese and Caucasian participants, while the drug showed a more favorable safety and tolerability profile in Caucasian subjects, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing. No serious adverse events were reported.
LY03015 is being developed to treat tardive dyskinesia and Huntington's disease-related chorea.
Shares of the company rose marginally in recent trade.
