Lumen Technologies (LUMN) said Tuesday it is expanding its network through a new low-latency fiber route called NorthLine.
The new route will directly connect Seattle and Minneapolis, improving connectivity between the Pacific Northwest and central US markets. It will support high-speed 100G and 400G services and will be offered through Lumen RapidRoutes, the company said.
NorthLine is set to launch by the end of 2026 and will provide businesses, cloud providers, and AI companies with a more direct connection between major markets, the company added.
