The statement followed media reports that Lotte Chemical was considering selling its interest in the Malaysia-listed petrochemical company, according to a Wednesday Malaysian bourse filing.

Lotte Chemical Titan said it will make the necessary announcement under Bursa Malaysia's Main Market Listing Requirements if there is any further update.
