Londian Wason New Energy Tech shares closed 11% higher on their first day of trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
The company's shares closed at $24.50, above the IPO price of $22, giving it a market capitalization of $2.01 billion.
The Shenzhen-based copper foil maker raised $94.3 million in an upsized offering on Tuesday.
The listing marked the largest U.S. debut by a Chinese company since tea chain Chagee went public in April 2025, according to Reuters.
