Lockheed Martin Selected for Proposed Sale of UH-60M Black Hawk Helicopters to Norway, US State Department Says

Lockheed Martin (LMT) will be the principal contractor for a possible foreign military sale to the Norwegian government of UH-60M Black Hawk Helicopters and related equipment, with estimated total cost at $2.3 billion, the US Department of State said in a statement Friday.

Norway has requested to buy 21 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters, and related equipment, according to the statement.

This sale could support the US foreign policy and national security objectives by improving the security of a NATO ally, the department added.
