Livzon Pharma Unit Wins China Approval for Fertility Drug Biosimilar

Livzon Pharmaceutical's (HKG:1513, SHE:000513) unit Livzon MABPharm received approval from China's National Medical Products Administration for Recombinant Human Follitropin Alfa Solution for Injection, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The product is indicated for anovulation, including polycystic ovary syndrome, ovarian stimulation in assisted reproductive technology procedures, and certain patients with severe luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone deficiencies.

The drug is administered through a pre-filled injection pen and was developed as a biosimilar.

Chery Automobile's May Sales Jump 21%

Chery Automobile (HKG:9973) sold 231,944 vehicles in May across its five major brands, up 21% from a year prior, a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing said.The firm's Chery brand saw sales rise 34% year over year to 167,645 units, while iCar sales gained 60% to 9,432 units. Jetour sales rose 1% year on year to 45,557 units, figures showed.Exeed and Luxeed sales decreased 47% and 31%, respectively, to 5,882 units and 3,428 units.New energy vehicle sales totaled 89,340 units, while exports reached 177,666 units, figures showed.For the five months ended May 30, total sales increased 7.5% to 1.03 million units.
