Lithium Argentina (LAR) reported Q2 income Tuesday of $0.01 per diluted share, swinging from a loss of $0.03 a year earlier.
A single analyst polled by FactSet expected earnings of $0.05.
The company said the operation remains on track to achieve full-year production guidance of 35,000 - 40,000 tonnes.
Shares of the company were down more than 5% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
