Lindian Resources (ASX:LIN) said the Kangankunde rare earths project in Malawi is on schedule to support first production in the December quarter, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Front-end commissioning remains targeted for October, with practical completion targeted for mid-November.
Access was established to the top of the project for the stage one pit, and the haul road was completed, the company said. Ore stockpiling was well advanced, with around 27,000 tonnes of ore now established on the run-of-mine pad.
