LG Uplus (KRX:032640) posted a marginal 0.1% year-over-year increase in net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company to 219.7 billion won for the second quarter from 219.5 billion won.
Sales declined 3.9% to 3.695 trillion won for the three months ended June 30 from 3.844 trillion won a year earlier, according to a Korea Exchange filing on Thursday.
For the first half, LG Uplus recorded a net income of 396.7 billion won, up 3% from 385.2 billion won a year ago.
Cumulative sales edged up 1.2% to 7.499 trillion won from 7.593 trillion won a year earlier.
Shares of the company gained over 2% in morning trade Thursday.
