LG Display (KRX:034220) began the mass production of 240Hz red, green, and blue (RGB) stripe OLED panels, the display maker said in a Thursday release.
The panels are optimized for both gaming and office use, according to the release.
The display maker plans to expand its OLED monitor lineup with the mass production of 27-inch models alongside key global brands, with an aim to strengthen its presence in the premium monitor market, it said.
Shares of LG Display added over 2% at market close.
