Lemonade Launches Pet Insurance in Kentucky

Lemonade (LMND) said Tuesday it launched its pet insurance offering in Kentucky, with coverage now available in 44 US states plus Washington, D.C.

Pet parents in Kentucky can now get a quote, customize coverage and file claims directly in the Lemonade app, while customers insuring more than one pet receive an automatic multi-pet discount.

Coverage includes diagnostics, procedures and medications for accidents and illnesses, with optional add-ons including vet visit fees, physical therapy and end-of-life expenses, the company said.
