LC Logistics Unit Enters Bareboat Charter to Lease Vessel; Shares Surge 6%

LC Logistics (HKG:2490) unit BAL Athena Shipping entered into a bareboat charter to lease a vessel from Tianjin Green Ocean-V Leasing for 120 months, with a requirement to buy it at the end of the period, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

Shares of the logistics company were up over 6% in Thursday afternoon trading.

At the same time, another unit Bal Container Line agreed to assign the shipbuilding agreement for the 14,000 TEU container vessel to Tianjin Green Ocean-V Leasing, with the consideration comprising the third and fourth installments.

LC Logistics will be the standby charterer under the deal.

Leshan Electric Power (SHA:600644) plans to establish a subsidiary to manage the implementation of a power station project, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.The subsidiary will be named Sichuan Ledian Qingbaijiang Energy Storage Technology and it will have a registered capital of 1 million yuan.Ledian Qingbaijiang will be the implementing body for the construction of an electrochemical energy storage power station, which will have a capacity of 100 megawatts or 200 megawatt hours.The Chinese hydroelectric power distributor's shares slipped 1% during the afternoon trade.

Shanghai @hub (SHA:603881) will purchase scientific computing equipment for computing power services for five years at up to 800 million yuan, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai bourse.The company will build an AI4S scientific computing service integrating computing power supply, software support, public services, operation and maintenance support, it said in the filing.Each device will contain at least 500 high-performance supercomputing chips.Shares rose nearly 3% in recent trade.
