Lancang River Hydropower Completes Two Green Bond Issuances

Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower (SHA:600025) completed the issuance of two green bonds, according to a Saturday filing on the Shanghai bourse.

The company issued its sixth green super short-term commercial paper worth 1.4 billion yuan, with a coupon rate of 1.37% and a term of 168 days.

The company also issued its seventh green medium-term bond for the year, which amounted to 1.6 billion yuan. It has a term of three years and a coupon rate of 1.55%.

The hydropower company's shares rose 1% during Monday's morning trade.

Hanmi Pharm Grants Eli Lilly Worldwide License for Intestinal Growth Drug; Shares Rise 6%

Hanmi Pharm (KRX:128940) granted Eli Lilly worldwide exclusive rights to develop, produce, and market the South Korean drug company's sonefpeglutide biologic drug candidate, according to a Monday news release in Seoul.The rights do not cover Korea, according to Hanmi.Hanmi is set to receive a $75 million upfront payment from the U.S. drug company and an additional $1.19 billion in milestone payments from clinical development, regulatory approval, and commercialization.The South Korean drug company will also be eligible for royalties following the launch.Sonefpeglutide is a long-acting glucagon-like peptide 2 or GLP-2 that helps with intestinal growth. GLP-2 obtained approval for short bowel syndrome.Shares rose 6% during afternoon trading on Monday.
