Kyoritsu Maintenance's (TYO:9616) largest shareholder, Milestone Co., no longer qualifies as a major shareholder, following a partial conversion of the company's convertible bonds, according to a Monday Tokyo bourse filing.
The conversion led to an increase in the total number of voting rights outstanding on Sept. 4, 2025, and the dormitory and hotel operator said that it "sincerely apologizes" for the delay in making the disclosure.
Meanwhile, the number of shares held by Milestone remains unchanged at about 8.5 million shares, equivalent to 84,856 voting rights; however, its voting rights ratio fell to 9.37% from 10.91% as the total number of voting rights increased.
