Kyndryl (KD) said Wednesday it expanded its sovereignty offerings through a partnership with Microsoft (MSFT), combining Kyndryl Sovereignty Solutioning with Microsoft Sovereign Cloud capabilities.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The expanded offering is designed to help customers meet data residency and regulatory requirements while supporting cloud modernization and AI workloads, the company said.
Kyndryl said the joint offering targets governments and regulated industries with evolving sovereignty requirements across hybrid IT environments.
Shares of Kyndryl and Microsoft were up 4.7% and 1.3%, respectively, in Wednesday trading.
